"I gotta keep breathing. Because tomorrow the sun will rise.
Who knows what the tide could bring."
In the movie Castaway, Tom Hanks plays a very courageous man, surviving an airplane accident, even though it seemed as there was no reason to hope, all alone and the rush of the ocean waters pouring over him as he was thrust back and forth from a landing he never imagined. In the stillness of the night and in his heart, he would breath words that resonate our present unrest, as our world is in turmoil. "I know what I have to do now. I 've got to keep breathing ... Because tomorrow the sun will rise...
A reminder to not give up in these desperate times. When were not sure of what tomorrow brings, when our world seems unfamiliar to us, not safe, not knowing who to trust, not knowing where to turn.....
We will see the light at the end of the tunnel. I trust in a God that promises eternal life, to hold me in the palm of his Hand, when I feel suffocated and can barely breath. " Savior, He can move the mountains, My God is mighty to save, Forever, author of salvation, He rose and conquered the grave, So take me as you find me, all my fears and failures, and fill my life again, I give my life to follow, everything I believe in."...Hillsong Worship
In the movie, Wilson a volleyball, was Chucks personal companion, his accountability, his community, his survival, much like how we need each other, to keep our heads
above water, so we don't sink or shrink, to being the courageous beings, we were meant to be for one another. Remembering the song that I sang to my children when they were little, "Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world, red and yellow, black and white, Jesus loves the little children of the world"
"I would rather take my chances out there on the ocean than stay here and die."
